Welcome to this site. My name is Mária (rhymes with "aria"). I am a consultant and psychotherapist in private practice in New York, NY.

I am a certified hypnotherapist, a member of the NBCCH (National Board of Clinical Hypnotherapists), and have been certified in brief therapy. I use hypnotherapeutic techniques for performance enhancement, as well as for healing enhancement for people with cancer or who are battling addictions. I am also certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I am a certified Imago Relationship therapist, specializing in communication facilitation with non-traditional couples.

I have also been trained in Shamanism by Alberto Villoldo, Joan Poelvoorde, Michael Harner, and Robert Moss. As part of this work, I am dedicated to environmental awareness, including wilderness preservation and global environmental conservation.
